Founded in 1891 by a group of passionate parents, the Ondine Genevoise was born with about thirty young musicians united by the desire to live music together. In a short time, the group grows and adopts a sailor’s uniform, which has now become a symbol of its identity.

Today, the Ondine Genevoise is a music academy that welcomes 140 students from 4 to 25 years old. Since 2000, it is officially recognized as a music school accredited by the State of Geneva. It offers a complete and quality musical training, combining theory and instrumental practice from the first steps. Auditions, concerts and public performances mark the path of the students, favoring their growth and integration in the musical world.

With its wind orchestra and drum corps, the Ondine Genevoise performs regularly in Switzerland and abroad, participating in concerts, parades and festivals. The band had the honour of representing Switzerland in the USA, Japan, Canada and several European countries.
